Members of the Civic Society 'Cleaning for the Queen'.

"We few, we happy few, we band of brothers.................


And gentlemen in England now a-bed shall think themselves accursed they were not here ......"


On Saturday 16 April 2016 a few, "we happy few" hardy Society members braved the snow to start the "Clean for The Queeen" initiative.


Signs on the Fosseway, Fountain intersection and Unicorn lights were cleaned before recharging buckets and a welcome coffee was taken at Christopher Clarke Antiques.  Further cleaning extended into Church Street, The Square, Digbeth Street and The Shrubbery.  With further cleaning and litter picking arranged by the Council for the Sunday Stow will hopefully "Gleam for The Queen".
