Great Introduction

“A very interesting and well paced tour around the centre of Stow. Very knowledgeable and engaging guides (David & Colin). A good introduction to Stow and provided ideas for places to delve deeper into the history of the town. About 2 hours, ending at a perfect time for lunch”.

Great introduction to the history of Stow and life in the Cotswolds

“A huge thank you to David, Ann & Nigel for accepting to give my group and I a private tour and wonderful introduction to life - past, present and future of this charming Cotswold town. Their passion for the history of Stow was infectious and we embarked on a really interesting and informative 1.5hr tour, learning historical, cultural and quirky facts related with humour and enthsiasm. We all agreed the tour was underpriced (£5.00) for the quality and readiness of these 3 wonderful members of the community and Stow Civic Society. Thank you”.

A Must do on a Sunday morning in Stow-on-the-Wold

“If in Stow-on-the-Wold on a Sunday morning be sure to participate in the local walk tour. It is 90 minutes of pure pleasure. Our tour was hosted by volunteers Val & Margaret. Val took the lead and I have to say that she is a Cotswold treasure. Her authentic quick wit, vast knowledge of the history of Stow and her own personal stories (VE Day at the age of 5 and building stone fences) made this walk one of the highlights of our trip to England. Thank you”.
